Big Brother AGAIN!

Levi just wanted to announce that he is excited about being a big brother again (in late December/early January)...

This was Levi's announcement when we found out he was going to be a big brother to Aaron. Too cute not to share!

Scott and I are very excited at the thought of being parents to another little one. Are we nervous? Yes. Worried about our new baby? Yes. There is a good bit of anxiety involved. I can't lie.
After losing Aaron last year, we just don't take anything for granted anymore. Especially not the health of our children. We watch our other friends walk through trials with critically ill children, and still other special friends who say goodbye to sweet babies just a few hours or days old. Does it make sense? No. And it won't in this world. We just continue to be hopeful that God will bless us with a healthy boy or girl.
As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are God's ways higher than our ways and His thoughts than our thoughts. Isaiah 55:9.

One Cool Dude

After a great trip to the ENT today (ears are looking good!), we went to Sportclips for a haircut for Levi.

This is the subdued look.

And this is the WILD MAN with some product in his hair. MOHAWK!

Who am I kidding? He is a cool dude even without a new haircut. :)

At Long Last...Swimming!

After 4 weeks of swim lessons, Levi finally showed his stuff! He can swim a little bit on his back and on his front. Most importantly, if he ever falls in the water he knows just where to go---THE WALL! As a side note, he learned that you never wear bandaids in the pool and never, NEVER pee pee in the pool!

I have a neat little video of the action that I will post soon. It's not the best quality(Scott was trying to watch over the camera during the filming process), but it's evidence that Levi can truly swim! We are so thankful to Ms. Alicia, Ms. Kerri and all the swim helpers!

Olympic Trials?

Okay. Maybe not. :) But...Levi has been going to swimming lessons for the past three weeks.

He is doing pretty well, even though we had major doubts at first. I mean, some days he likes it...

But some days he doesnt. :(

We're just hoping this will make him water safe! Thanks, Ms. Alicia!
