Last night, we discovered that Shiloh loves to watch American Idol. When someone starts to sing, she kicks and waves her arms around, sucking furiously on her pacifier. I'm not sure if she's frightened by some of the contestants or not...

Back to Work

It hardly seems possible that I've been home for almost ten weeks. I'm gonna have some serious adjustment tomorrow morning (and all day). Reflecting on my time off, here are some things I will miss:

-catching every imaginable episode of Keeping Up With the Kardashians, Deliver Me and Birth Day;

-lunch with my husband;

-an occasional daytime nap;

-having dinner ready at a reasonable time;

-picking up Levi early from school;

-getting my shopping done during the day;

-but mostly, I'm gonna miss hanging out with this little girl...

Brothers

Sometimes they're silly...or just plain weird.

Sometimes their stories bore you to tears.

But I love my brudder. He's my best friend. So I guess I'll stick by him until the end.

Shiloh's Coming Out Party

Some sweet friends of mine hosted a coming out party for Shiloh this past weekend. It was a ton of fun and I got to see lots of friends I haven't seen in a while. Shiloh was her usual charming, beautiful self. :) See?


Of course, most of the time she did this. :)


My friend Laura took some sweet pictures of her feet. I LOVE feet pictures.

And the only thing better than feet pictures are sweet little hand pictures...

Levi had a good time, too, and didn't mind that his sister was showered with gifts and attention. However, it took him a little while to warm up. Earlier that morning he told me he didn't want to see "dose wadies" who were coming to see Shiloh. :) He had to spend a little time hiding behind this tree before he decided all was well.
